Quality Update

Overview

Once a week we publish Quality Updates to our maintained MAKERS CHOICE and Long-Term Support releases.

Quality Updates contain fixes and improvements that guarantee:

No manual migration steps are necessary
App Users are not affected

All Simplifier Updates are provided on Docker Hub Repository.

We recommend to active automated installation of Quality Updates. Automated Updates are activated per default for instances hosted on our Simplifier Cloud. To activate it on instances not hosted by Simplifer, just follow our default installation guides. Alternatively, you can manually update or implement automated updates based on the linked update guidelines.

Versioning

Quality Update versioning is done according to the schema <<Release>>.<<Quality Update>>

Examples for Quality Update 5:

MAKERS CHOICE: MC 24-11.5
Long-Term Support: LTS 9.5

The version of your instance is shown on the bottom right of the Simplifier Dashboard as well as in the Version Dialog that can be opened from the User Menu in the Header Bar of Simplifier.
