Our Mobile Client has several Features to support the Enterprise Security Measurements actively:

Support of external Identity Management Systems

Our Simplifier Mobile Client reads the Authentication Settings from Simplifier Server in Realtime and provides the same login mechansim as configured in Simplifier Administration Interface and Business Apps.

Additional Mutual TLS Authentication

Mutual TLS ensures that the parties at each end of a network connection are who they claim to be by verifying that they both have the correct private key. The information within their respective TLS certificates provides additional verification.

Mutual TLS is often used in a Zero Trust security framework to verify users, devices, and servers within an organization. It can also help keep APIs secure.

Within the Simplifier Mobile Client, you can install or download certificates to authenticate against the server.

File Encryption

You can activate the secure file system, that means all files and databases are stored in a encrypted space.

The Secure File Store is based on IOCipher and uses the encryption algorithm 256-bit AES in CBC mode. Additional for the passphrase handling the algorithm PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA512 is used.

Encrypted Transport Security over TLS

All Communication between Simplifier Mobile Client and Server is encrypted via TLS 1.2 or higher. Simplifier Mobile Client uses HTTPS and WSS (Websocket-Secure) as Protocol – Default Port 443.
