New Wizards for No Coding
Simplifier now introduced App Wizards – these little maniacs helps you through the day – You can create Login Mask with different Identity Managers, build tables with any datasource or create a full database application on the fly – just let the magic happens and answer the right questions and you will be finished. New Look
We clean up our Administration Dashboard and move all the main functionality into a sidebar that is reachable from every page and subpage. The new main space will be stuffed with new content from our simplifier community. We also modernize our look and feel within the process designer activities to get a leaner look and more overview.
Database Editor
For PHPMyAdmin Lovers – In the DB Designer it is now possible to access and edit the data stored in a deployed database. This enables you to create mockup data very easy or validate whats written in to DB after you test your Application – Data Handling Simplified! (Read more)
Direct Connection
With Mapping Dialogs you can now use the Output Parameter from Predecessor Shapes for Input Mapping – No need to create variables for temporary data storage anymore. This feature saves a lot of time, clicks and is streamlines the complete logic flow. (Read more)

Updated Features Release 6.0
Big Time Savers
For mapping multiple parameters, we now offer a multi select functionality instead drag & drop every single parameter or a simple select all parameters shortcut. We also refactor the loading performance of our process designer activities and reduce the loading time over 80%.
Draft, Release, Live
We introduced two more Views within DB Designer Schema Editor. All changes made by AppBuilders are visible under Draft Version, the Release Button offers you the deployed schema version and the Live View import the actual state of the database – so you always get the complete overview of your Database Models. Reworked Data Services
You can now use the Data Service Shape to read also foreign tables of your schema: For e.g. if your Orders Tables connected to Customer Data – you can now select your Orders with Customer related Data without writing SQL Joins. We now also support the server-based Search Functionality via $search Parameter to find the right data via API.(Read more)
Improved Process Documentation Dialog
The markdown of the process documentation is now displayed as rendered HTML for better readability. The markdown code can still be displayed by clicking the button in the right corner of the toolbar but it is still not editable. (Read more)
Updated Runtime
The OpenUI5 library for the Administration Userinterface has been updated to version 1.71. All new created Apps use this Runtime Version as default. We also deleting the Logs older than certain days instead moving the entries to a new database table. This save additional storage space on your database server

Mobile Features 6.0
Encrypted Business Apps
We introduce a new security feature for our android and ios mobile client: all simplifier apps can be encrypted on the mobile device storage. This prevents root attacks and gives you a better mobile security in terms of losing a device.
Discontinued Features 6.0
TbaaS
We remove the support for Testing and Building as a Service (TbaaS) from the Testing Area, because the product services are discontinued from the provider side.

New Proxy Requirements
If you are using a Proxy, Web Application Firewall or HTTP Gateway/LoadBalancer please adjust the Security Header according to the latest CORS Policy described here.

Changed Release Cycle
Until Release 6.5 Simplifier offers a closed beta program to his loyal customers and partner. To make this happen, we will extend the Release Period with a new closed beta phase for 4 weeks. The next release will be in September and the next one End of February.
