Prerequisites

Debugging on Mobile Client on iOS works only if

• Device is running on iOS 16.4 or later
• Desktop is running under MacOS with Safari Browser

Step 1 – Enable Safari Web Inspector

To enable Safari Web Inspector under iOS you have to activate the Web-Inspector settings as below

Step 2 – Activate Developer Mode and Debugger

Login within Simplifier Mobile Client on iOS, switch to the Settings Menu and activate first Developer Mode and the Subsetting “Enable Debugger”

Step 3 – Connect your iOS Device via USB Cable to Mac Computer

Connect your local device via USB Wire with a Mac.

Step 4 – Activate Safari Web Inspector under MacOS

Open Safari and go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Advanced and checkmark Show Develop menu in menu bar. Afterwards select the connected iOS Device under Develop see Screenshot below:
