our Simplifier Mobile Client indeed offers the possibility to use deep links to business apps which should meet your requirements exactly. In such a deep link, a specific Simplifier schema (‘simplifierclient’) is used, that’s right. You can find the related documentation here. Please let us know whether this answers your question.
Kind regards,
Armin

Unfortunately, we have found that the deep link feature does not work as we would have expected. The fact that a deep link is only executed if a business app is not already running makes the feature pretty useless for us. I understand that the intention was to prevent app states from being overwritten in an uncontrolled manner, but simply letting the deep link failĀ is not acceptable. Why not include a simple message box, as is the case with workflow push notifications, asking the user if they want to exit the current application?

this limitation is an intended feature in order to prevent potential data loss. This is also stated in the documentation.
However, mitigating this issue in a similar manner as with the workflows, which suffer from the same problem, is a good idea.
If possible, I kindly ask you to create a feature request in our Ideas portal.Kind Regards
Lukas
