    Hello,
where exactly is the placeholder {{link}} configured in the email templates?
In the app of a new customer in the email with the link for setting the password, the link does not work, the error message ‘The requested resource could not be found’ appears, there is nothing in the input parameters of the template, but it is correct, because on another instance it works like this.

    Thank you.

    greetings Leonid

    Hi Leonid,

the parameters can be handed to the template only with defining them in the input parameter mask, otherwise they will not be mapped and so not used in your template.

I also want to mention that the password reset link is only valid for around 24h.

    Kind regards,

    Vitali

    Hi Leonid,

the issue was fixed within the frame of the support ticket you raised. The link parameter contained in the HTML template wasn’t the problem that caused the error you were receiving. Instead, the origin URL for the password reset link was wrongly formatted in the server landscape settings and contained a forward slash which you didn’t seem to expect in your business object script when constructing the full href for the reset link.

Our standard HTML templates for system messages indeed do not have the ‘link’ parameter configured in the ‘Parameters’ tab. This is correct and functioning as the backend handles this automatically in case said parameter is contained in the template. Custom parameters that you add on your own to an HTML template, however, need to be configured in the respective tab at all times.

    Kind regards,

    Armin
