      Hey everybody,

I read in the recent documentation that the OPC UA Connector can only be called via Script. Is this still the case or will there be a new way in the Simplifer 4.0 Version. Is there any sample to see how the OPC UA Connector works in the recent Release (Version 3.5).

      Thanks!

      Greetings,
      Alexander

      Hello Alexander,

the OPC-UA Connector could be called (synchronous operations like READ, WRITE, BROWSE) in earlier versions and it’s still available.

Since version 3.0 asynchronous operations (SUBSCRIBE) can be triggered visually by the Connector shape.

The academy page will be updated soon. I will attach a connector call subscription example for you later this day.

      Cheers

        Hi Alex,

sorry for the late answer. The transport includes one call, which you can use for the asynchronous connector shape. The mapping is the same as for a synchronous connector shape.

OPC-UA Connector with a scubscription call

        Hope this help 🙂
