Hi,

Layout customization means that you adapt your application’s layout to your own custom requirements, for example, to a company’s corporate design.

In the UI Designer, you can already select between SAPUI5’s standard themes. However, if you want more customization (different colored buttons, different design of input fields/buttons etc.), you have two options:

1. Use SAPUI5’s Theme Designer to create a theme for your application. The Theme Designer is a product of SAP, and you need a SAP cloud platform account to use it. Read here how to create a theme with the Theme designer: https://community.simplifier.io/knowledge/use-sap-ui-theme-designer/
   Keep in mind that since it is a third party product, the usage and layout of the SAP Theme Designer might change.
2. Use Simplifier’s CSS editor inside an application to adapt UI elements. You can address elements by their style class, their HTML class or their ID and adapt them using CSS. Read here how to use the CSS editor: https://community.simplifier.io/knowledge/how-to-use-simplifier-css-editor/
