Increase build process validation

How can we increase the validation of the build process?

I was just able to delete the parameters of an interface without any problems and the deployment still went through without any problems.

Fortunately, I knew the places where it was used and when I reopened it, a small GREY error symbol was displayed that my parameter no longer exists, but in such cases a deployment must not be successful!

In the server settings I found artifact graph settings, am I in the right place?

      Hi Timo,

the Artifact Graph Settings should only be changed with extreme caution and only if our Support team explicitly asks you to do so within the frame of an active support ticket. Therefore, changing those settings won’t help you, unfortunately. If you have the feeling that the process and / or workflow configuration validation could be improved during the deployment, please feel free to create a feature request on our dedicated Ideas portal and let us know more about your exact requirements.

Thank you very much and kind regards,

      Armin

I don’t know if I’m in the right place here with a feature request, after all I can use a parameter of the interface in the module that doesn’t actually exist any more.

I can also deploy this state, at the latest here it should come to errors? In other words: My feature reqeust would be that I can’t deploy with errors? Otherwise my bug report would be that it is possible for me to deploy the module with a faulty interface?

How can it be that this kind of error is not noticeable?

        Hi Timo,

we’ve received internal feedback within the frame of the ticket mentioned by Vitali, that indeed it is necessary for you to create a feature request in our Ideas portal for this query, as the required changes in Simplifier to meet your requirements would be rather big and various components would be affected by those changes. We ask you to specify your requirements in the feature request as detailed as possible, ideally with a specific use case in mind. Our product team will then be able to evaluate your wishes and give you feedback on them whether it is possible to include them in a future Simplifier release to come.

Thank you for your understanding and kind regards,

        Armin
