As far as I know Simplifier uses ECMASCRIPT5  for JS coding.

Is there a timeline when the current version of ECMASCRIPT is introduced?

      Hello Klaus,

we will plan to update our Script Engine in Release 6.0 (Jan 21) – to be clear – Simplifier Server Business Objects using ES5, Client Side Business Object can use ES6 or higher (depends on the browser)

You can use ES6 for Scripts in ProcessDesigner but be aware that browsers which doesn’t support ES6 feature will have problems. If you want to use ES6 and still be compatible with browsers which use ES5 you can configure the deploy process of your business application.
You can find information about configuring the deploy process in the documentation.

Scripting in ProcessDesigner uses also ES6 or higher?
