Hi Christopher,

this limitation is an intended feature in order to prevent potential data loss. This is also stated in the documentation.
However, mitigating this issue in a similar manner as with the workflows, which suffer from the same problem, is a good idea.
If possible, I kindly ask you to create a feature request in our Ideas portal.
