This application helps managing your incoming goods by scanning the barcode of a sap purchase order
Problem

The handling of deliveries usually consists of many complex, individually regulated individual steps, e.g. documentation, checking, booking, etc. - all of which require coordination and handover processes. This poses challenges such as high administrative costs due to paper-based processes or error-prone data entry. Under certain circumstances, reporting can only provide cumbersome or no reporting options and media disruptions can result in insufficient transparency

Solution

The mobile app developed with Simplifier for checking deliveries and freight documents enables employees to carry out an accurate incoming goods inspection directly upon receipt of goods. The comparison with the connected SAP system takes place automatically - any discrepancies can be identified immediately and the supplier's escalation management can be triggered. If the delivery is correct, the goods are booked directly into the SAP database without manual input

Just scan the barcode of a SAP purchase order, search the order number or insert the order number, and you will receive your orders items.

Confirm received order items and set delivered count of goods per item. Also you can upload and attach a document to each selected item.
In addition on mobile devices (like smartphones and tablets), you can also easily take a photo of the delivery note and add it instead. Goods movement in your SAP is automatically triggered on successful confirmation.

In the case of an issue, it is possible to open a case to escalate the situation. This automatically sends an email with additional information to the escalation manager. Again use our build in mobile actions to add a photo of the issue or delivery note or upload a document.
